MIDIOSC
What CueSync Enables
MIDI Output
Send MIDI notes, CC messages, and program changes triggered by audio events — connect to any MIDI-capable software or hardware.
OSC Output
Custom OSC messages to any IP and port — control Resolume, TouchDesigner, QLab, Disguise, and Unreal Engine.
Flexible Mapping
Map any trigger (beat, phrase, energy, BPM, hot cue) to any MIDI channel/note or OSC address.
Multi-Destination Routing
Send to multiple MIDI and OSC destinations simultaneously — one audio trigger, many outputs.
Sub-5ms Latency
Audio event to MIDI/OSC output in under 5ms — real-time responsiveness for live performance.
MIDI Clock & Ableton Link
Output MIDI Clock for tempo sync and receive Ableton Link for DAW integration.
Quick Setup
- 1Configure MIDI output device and channel in CueSync's protocol settings. CueSync sees every MIDI port your OS exposes — IAC bus, USB controllers, virtual loopback drivers all work.
- 2For OSC: set the destination IP, port, and address prefix. Each output can target a different host so a single CueSync session drives multiple machines.
- 3Map audio triggers to MIDI notes, CC values, or OSC addresses in the routing editor. The same trigger can fan out to many destinations.
- 4Test with CueSync's built-in MIDI/OSC monitor — messages stream through the diagnostics view in real time, with timestamps to verify ordering.

MIDI & OSC Questions
Yes — MIDI input is a first-class trigger source alongside audio and PRO DJ LINK. Map a controller pad to a CueSync action, or use MIDI clock to sync CueSync's tempo to a DAW.
Yes. MSC for theatre rigs (GO, STOP, RESUME, GOTO_CUE) is supported on the Theatre and Production editions. QLab is the most common target.
Yes — each trigger can fan out to N OSC outputs with independent addresses. Useful for parallel TouchDesigner + Unreal pipelines that each need their own message format.
