Art-Net binds UDP 6454 and sACN binds UDP 5568. This path is built end to end and emits real packets, but it has never been verified against physical hardware — bench-test before relying on it for a live show, or drive a console over OSC instead. Art-Net liveness is asked with ArtPoll rather than assumed from the bind: a node that has answered once is expected to keep answering and is flagged when it stops, a node that has never answered is left alone rather than marked down for it, and if another Art-Net application on the machine holds UDP 6454 CueSync reports no verdict instead of guessing.
