A cloud workspace where your whole crew designs the show around the waveform, then exports it into the desktop app.
CueSync Studio is where a show gets designed before anyone is in the room. It runs in a browser at cuesync.live/studio — lighting, video, laser, sound, choreography and stage management open the same waveform, place cues against it, discuss them in writing, and sign them off. When the design settles, the show exports into the CueSync desktop app, where one operator binds it to the rig and runs it.
The split is deliberate: Studio holds intent — where a cue lands, what it should feel like, who owns it. The desktop holds execution — which console, which protocol, which fixture. Studio never touches the live beat path, and nothing done in a browser can fire a cue.
What's inside a Studio show
- A setlist of audio tracks — each song, act or segment with its own waveform and its own cues.
- A native waveform with an overview minimap, time ruler, beat grid, and drop-frame-correct SMPTE. Cues snap to the grid or nudge frame by frame.
- Cues carrying position, number, name, discipline, design intent, operator notes, tolerance and offset in frames, and a sign-off status (
draft→in review→approved). - Acts and scenes nested over the top.
- Threaded comments with @mentions, per-discipline workspaces for plans and specs, presence, version history with atomic restore, and templates.
- Reports — a master cue sheet filterable by discipline, printable, exportable as CSV or USITT ASCII.
Every cue is anchored to its position in the track, in milliseconds. Timecode, bar:beat and pixels are all views of that one number, which is why a cue placed in a browser lands on exactly the same frame in the desktop.
What it costs
Studio is $15 per month, billed separately from your CueSync edition and available on every edition. Local tax is added at checkout. Add it from the Pricing page or from Billing in your account dashboard.
Getting in
Open cuesync.live/studio and sign in with the same CueSync account. If you were invited to someone else's show, open the invitation link from your email first — that link is what creates your membership.
